Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me.
My name is Kristie and I have been happily married for 13 years to my best friend. We are the parents of a seventeen year old daughter and a thirteen year old son.
We are enjoying our adventures as a homeschooling family entering our eighth year homeschooling our kids.
And rounding out this crazy mix is our chocolate lab named Buddy.
I love the world of blogging. I have been blogging for a couple of years, but Saving Dollars and Sense has been my home since 2007.
This is my little spot on the web where I can voice my opinions on the things that matter to me. I am passionate about a couple of things. The Lord, my family, and learning to live on less. I do not claim to be an expert, but I have learned a few things on this journey and I enjoy being able to share these things with my readers.
On Saving Dollars and Sense I write about several things including money saving tips, recipes, menus, homeschooling, parenting, my faith, freebies, and deals to name a few.
You’ll also occasionally find reviews of the products I’ve used and want to share with my readers as well as some great giveaways too!

Hi there, I have visited your site off & on over the last few months. I have recently gotten more involved in couponing & came back to your site again tonight. I am in Central CA & no one around here doubles coupons which is a bummer, but I do enjoy playing the drugstore game
Mostly stick with CVS though. I am really looking forward to your continuing series on how to coupon better. Thanks again for all your work! (couponing has made our budget easier to live on with me being a stay at home mom)
