I’ve probably shared about my lack of domestic skills numerous times here.

It isn’t that I don’t want to be the  best wife, mom, house cleaner, ect.  It’s just that it doesn’t seem to come all that naturally to me.

One thing that I have found really works to give me a renewed motivation are toys or gadgets.

This is especially true in the area of housework.  There is just something about getting new cleaning supplies that makes me want to clean the whole house.

Target had recently made it even more appealing to buy new cleaning products when they helped St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in its fight to find cures and save children battling deadly diseases — simply by selling specially-marked “red” Procter & Gamble products in their stores from May 10th through June 13th.

Do you enjoy cleaning more when you have new cleaning  toys tools to use?  Could you use a little motivation to get cleaning?

I am giving away 2 “Spring Into Summer” cleaning Kits!

The kit include:

Samples of Bounce
Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport
Tide Stain Release samples
Full-size “red” Swiffer Sweeper Starter Kit

Here’s how to enter:

Leave me a comment telling me how you renew your lost motivation.

*This giveaway has ended.

This giveaway is open to all legal residents of the US age 18 and older and will end on June 28th.

Here are some ways that you can earn Extra entries
(Be sure to leave a separate comment for each entry)

**Although the product for this giveaway was supplied to me free of charge from Proctor & Gamble, all opinions expressed are solely mine.

I liked you on facebook. Still trying to find my lost motivation. I have put out reward posters and everything.

It sounds funny, but when I don’t feel like doing anything (i.e. cleaning! lol) I start flipping through a home decor magazine and it gives me the motivation I need to get my house in order (like the CLEAN one’s in the mag). It’s hard looking at a messy house after you see the nice clean one’s!

If I’m feeling less than motivated, I take a small task & do that. I get a sense of accomplishment without a lot of time invested. Builds up the motivation a bit.

I break up cleaning in small portions…otherwise I get overloaded and don’t want to do anything for the rest of the day.

I know it sounds old-fashioned, but through prayer and Bible study.

I clean just one small area – looking at how nice it is helps motivate me to do one more bit, and so on

I usually do the commercial cleaning trick. Clean as much as I can during a commercial or while the kids are sleeping. Would like to try your cleaning bucker

What you think about comes about … so I go through my day with my mantra in my head, ‘my house is clean and organized.’ I am amazed that I find myself taking 15 mins here and there and the next thing you know my house is clean and organized.

I Have never been a good house keeper. However, watching my child becoming just like me has given me the push I needed to keep a better house. I do not want her to be like me. I now make it a game and my four year’s room even stays clean with out my help.
