I have this Cuisinart Food Processor that I LOVE!  The best thing I ever found to use it for is mashing up all the ingredients for meatloaf.  My hands stay completely clean or hamburger goo.

I also use my food processor to grate up the Fels Naptha soap when I make my own laundry detergent.

  • 7-cup work bowl ideal size for most households
  • New, simple-to-use feed tube and pusher assembly
  • Extra-large feed tube is 4-1/4 by 2-3/4 inches; small feed tube inside pusher
  • Dough blade, slicing/shredding discs, spatula, recipes, how-to video included
  • 10-year warranty against motor defects, 3-year warranty against other defects

My primary use was making baby food. Now I use it to chop fruit for freezer jam and making cranberry relish for the holidays. :)

  2. I have this one too and love it too! Great idea about the meatloaf! I have a question about the laundry soap. I make my own too. I hand grate it and then process all of it in the processor. I was curious if you let the processor grate it. I am worried I will damage it since the Naptha is so hard. Just curious on what you do.

  3. I just have a small, 2 cup one. I got it at my bridal shower 23 years ago. Can’t use it for much, but I do use it for dill pickle dip.

  7. They also have the 11 cup for $99.99 which is 67% off. Though it isn’t a better deal money wise, the 11-cup is a much more flexible unit. You can do multiple pie crusts, french beans etc…much more easily in the larger bowl. If you can afford the extra $25 go for the bigger one.
