Several years ago I found out about Dave Ramsey online somewhere (I don’t exactly remember where I first stumbled upon his site). I ordered a couple of his books during a time when we were already changing the way we looked at money. When they arrived we devoured them!
Since then I turn on his radio show whenever I can catch it for encouragement to keep moving forward.
I was recently sent the new and improved Financial Peace University 2012 to review and I was so thrilled for the chance to try the whole thing!
Through FPU, Dave Ramsey has helped more than 1.5 million families and individuals transform their financial lives through his easy to understand principles. Just recently Dave launched a new version of FPU. While the name and principles are the same, the experience is completely different. The lessons are more beneficial than ever, the class materials are easier to use and guest speakers are included to provide additional insight. We’ve also shortened the class from 13 weeks to 9 weeks.
It could not have come at a better time for us. After working so hard to get rid of debt, we moved onto our first big goal which was to move into a new house and neighborhood. Unfortunately it is impossible for us to sell our first home so we had to find a different way. Mortgage companies here in Michigan weren’t handing out loans, especially if you already have a home loan no matter how great your credit was.
We LOVE our old house, but it was time for a change. So we scrimped and saved every spare penny until we had enough cash set aside that a mortgage company could not refuse us a new home.
Fast forward almost two years later.
We’ve used up our emergency fund and used credit to keep afloat while we paid for both homes. Needless to say, we were in need of a jump start and Financial Peace University was just the thing to give us one!
We have only recently began and can already see a difference in our finances, but more importantly in our outlook. We had gotten to a point where we were feeling so bogged down and guilty because we know better. But I know now that the enemy wants nothing more than to keep us in a place where we feel hopeless and I refuse to make a home in that pit ever again!

I have committed to getting us to a better place this year. This life as a Solo parent to an Autistic Superkid is tough but I believe Dave Ramsey can guide me to things I think are out of reach at this point.
We have spent two years working out getting out of debt. It has not been so easy after a medical emergency, unemployment, paying for college tuition for our son, and a high medical deductible we never reach. We really want to get back on track. We want to honor God with our finances and make the best choices. I subscribe to Dave Ramsey’s emails so that I can learn how we can do better. I would love to take it further by having the Financial Peace University Program. It would be such a blessing for me and my family.
Our finances are going down the tube because I have had my work hours cut by 50% due to cutbacks and loss of revenue at the company where I work.

My family really needs this, and I would love to win this kit! We recently lost most of our business, and cash flow is slow to non-existant. I read and heard a lot of great things about this program. This is a new year, ad we want to start out right, and get some help to start improving our lives once and for all.
After receiving a college degree you believe oh I will get a teaching job using my degree and becoming financially stable. Well this isn’t how it happened but I have been working for years on my college debts which I also added more debts too. This program would help me become the financially stable young adult I want to be.

My husband and I love Dave! Every time we talk about finances: buying a car, going on vacation, looking for a car, job change, ect… we always say, “What would Dave do?”
I just bought a house and NEED to figure out a new budget system. This would help me SO much!
If I had the money to buy this I would I have heard so many great things about his program and im dying to learn more! We have a small family of 4 now! We rent and live off of one income so that I can be a stay at home mom. My hubby is also going to school. We are making it but with a very tight budget and we dont always make that budget. We are having a hard time getting our school loans paid off with two littles and a car that need things. Thanks for this Opportunity to get the RAmsey program for free!
