Today we decided that since we are near the Wisconsin Dells we should probably see them for ourselves. But not until after an awesome complementary breakfast of fresh waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, muffins, biscuits, and gravy and more that the Country Inn & Suites offers. I think this was one of my boys favorite parts of staying at this hotel.

So, we headed to the Original WWII Army Ducks to get a tour with a super funny driver. These ducks are so cool! We went from driving down the road to driving straight into the water in seconds. The first time we went into the lake it was a bit odd because you aren’t sure if it will actually work. But it did, and we were able to get some great views of the amazing rock formations that the Dells are famous for.

After that we had some lunch ad decided that we should stay in the water and theme park resort that we had been planning to visit at Mt. Olympus. It was a great choice for us because we were able to walk out the door of our hotel and right into the park. Unfortunately they did NOT have a complementary breakfast. And they did NOT have Wi-fi! I was in complete shock over that one. So I went unplugged for over 24 hours!

We had a blast! We went on all the roller coasters the night we arrived. The park closed at 10 pm, but it reopened for some holding special night time tickets which our happened to be. In between it closing and reopening we went to get pizza at Uno’s. Then we went back and rode every roller coaster and go kart track in the place until 2 am. It was a blast.

The next day we planned to make our water park day. We rode down all of the water slides and played in the Tidal wave pool. But after a while we found our way back to the Go Karts and coasters once again. Just as we were getting ready to ride a roller coaster, it started to rain. They shut the place down and got everyone off the rides and out of the water. Apparently there was some possible tornado activity nearby.

We decided to cut our stay in the park short although there inside water and theme parks were still opened. We couldn’t wait to get back to our Country Inn & Suites hotel where we knew we could just relax. And after two days of nonstop fun, we needed a place to relax, so we were thankful to be heading back to The Country Inns & Suites.
