Harlem Globetrotters #GlobieFamily Night Out!

Saving Dollarsand Sense

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always wanted to see The Harlem Globetrotters.

I’ve shared a little in previous posts a little about my childhood.  We didn’t have much extra money growing up, which means I can probably count on one hand how many special events I attending growing up.  I’m not sharing this to complain about my impoverished childhood, but to give you a better idea of why something like The Harlem Globetrotters would be such a big deal to someone like me.

One year my brother had the chance to go see The Harlem Globetrotters .  A friend of my moms had tickets, but unfortunately not for all of us.  I remember being so excited (and I’m sure a little envious) that my brother was going to see something spectacular.  He came home to tell us all about it, and I was forever touched by the excitement in his eyes that I have secretly dreamed of the day that I might have the chance to experience it for myself.

Basketball has always been a large part of how my family spends time together.  We play as well as watch. As my kids have gotten older I find that the times we have to spend together are a bit harder to come by considering everyone now has their own busy schedules. Which is why having the opportunity to see The Harlem Globetrotters together is going to be such a treat!

The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Metro Detroit and I am thrilled by the opportunity to make memories with my son! If you are looking for a fun night out, please consider joining us and The Harlem Globetrotters!

The Harlem Globetrotters love seeing families laugh together during our games, and would love to see your family when we come to a city near you.  If you’re looking for an awesome event the whole family will enjoy, get your tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters “You Write the Rules” tour.  Your family’s smiles will start before you even get to the game because this year, your family can vote at harlemglobetrotters.com, and decide rules for the game like two balls in play at the same time that could affect the final outcome. After the game, Globetrotters will stay on court to sign autographs and take photographs with your kids.  The only thing better than finding an event the whole family will enjoy, is getting a great deal on it.  Save $7 per ticket* by using the promo code “TOGETHER“.  Get ready to experience a show your family will remember for a lifetime!  *Discount available on select ticket levels”

Be sure to leave me a comment if you have ever experienced The Harlem Globetrotters and give me an idea of what to expect when I see them live tonight.

*Although I was provided with tickets to the show free of charge, all opinions expressed are solely my own.
