I am so excited to be able to share this great resource with you for teaching health and nutrition to tween and teens.  This is an area of education that we need to make a regular part of our lives, and free resources like this are very helpful n breaking up the monotony of the ordinary school week.

The Dairy Makes Sense site is so full of activities, ideas, and information!  They have all of the things you’ll need to present your kids with a good education in the importance of good nutrition.  And since it is kid friendly, they’ll have a lot of fun learning about how to make change and improve their nutritional habits.

Some of the things you’ll find when you visit the Educator Toolkit include:

  • Lesson Plans
  • Posters
  • Powerpoints
  • Recipes
  • Nutrition Guides

I have to say that the recipes look really great and are all kid friendly too! This would make a neat little unit study and can be tailored to work with several different age groups altogether.

You can access the site here and see all it has to offer for yourself.
