Mother’s Day is coming up and I thought I would share some products that I think would make great gifts for any mom.
I want to kick off my Mother’s Day week with a great giveaway from Hoover!
The Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub Hard Floor Cleaner has to be the single most useful cleaning tool I own.
I do not like to mop my floors. In fact to be honest there have been times when I have let them go much longer than I should have. Sometimes it takes my feet sticking to the floor to make me realize I can’t ignore the task any longer.
When my kids were babies I would scrub the floors on my hands and knees, but as they gotten older I have gotten lazier.
But after the first time I used the Hoover FloorMate, I knew I would have no more excuses for having a dirty floor.
It is super easy to use, and it’s fast!
In under half an hour my kitchen floor was as clean as the first day it was put in. Ah, the joy of walking in my home barefoot again.
Moms should not spend all of their time making sure their floors are spic and span. Our time is valuable and needs to be reserved for the important things in life.
Did I mention that I feel like a Supermom now. I can pretend I am a great housekeeper all the while knowing it was actually fun! Shhhh…..
I love that fact that I am never putting dirty water back on the floor. It’s clean water the whole time. Plus no more wringing out a mop or refilling my buckets. And it easily goes from one surface to another without skipping a beat.
This thing vacuums up dirt, then with a turn of the dial it washes and dries your hard floor surface. And I can seriously wash my kitchen floor and back entry way in about 10 minutes!
Here’s how it works:
- It has 6 patented powerful rotating scrubbers.
- 2 separate tanks, one for clean water and another for the dirty water.
- powerful vacuum and squeegee gives you super fast drying time.
- Folds up to give you easy storage.
- It has soft tread wheels to protect your floors.
This vacuum is designed to be used on hard floor surfaces including ceramic, sealed wood, tile, marble, bamboo, linoleum, vinyl and laminate.
This would make a great Mother’s Day gift in my opinion.
I am giving away one of these to one of you!!!
Here’s how to enter:

I use a swiffer, a broom/dustpan, and a standard old mop. Occasionally, I have to get down and scrub my toddlers’ leftover messes by hand. Would LOVE an easier solution.
our floormate broke so I am still searching for a good method so we have an old school scrubby mop.
Trusty old dingy mop is how I current clean hard surfaces hopefully I’ll win and that will all change. SMILE
