I know that many of you have been disappointed that NCP was not looking for members in your area in the past.  Well I just got word that they are looking for lots of new members and have opened the program up to include a bunch of new zip code areas.

So even if you tried before and couldn’t get in, I suggest giving it another shot today since your area may now be able to participate!

Neilsen Homescan is currently accepting applications for their National Consumer Panel in select areas.

Panel members are sent a small hand-held scanner. You scan the bar codes of the items you purchase every week and electronically send them the information from your scanner.

Why participate?

It’s a super easy way for you earn points which you can redeem for cash and prizes from home.

Check to see if you qualify here, and make sure to check your email for any additional step you might need to take.

I don’t have any experience with this, but hear it is a good way to earn income from home if you qualify.  Some of the Saving Dollars and Sense readers have expressed that it took a bit too much time to scan everything in, but the majority of those who use this program to earn have rave reviews of the program!

I’d love to hear from anyone who has had experience with this program.

  1. I have been a NCP for over 3 years. It’s time consuming. I’m still working on points to earn a prize. Email me if you’d like more info.
