I shared a couple of days ago about how I thought my husband deserved a Norelco Father’s Day Makeover.

Rich is a really hardworking guy and he seldom even has the opportunity to wear anything other than work clothes.  So, when I found out I had the opportunity to present him with a complete makeover for Father’s Day, I was very excited!

My husband has been shaving every single day since before he was a teenager.  This daily chore is a necessity for a man who can have a 5 o’clock shadow by noon.  He has tried his share of razors.  He has even tried an electric shaver before and hated it.  He couldn’t get the close shave that he needed and quickly resorted back to a manual razor to get the job done.

But he realized that not all electric razors are created the same when he first tried the Norelco that we picked up for the first step in his makeover.

We chose the Norelco 6940.  This razor retails for about $45 but we found it on sale and used the $10 coupon that we found online at the Norelco site which brought the cost down to about $25 .

The next step in our makeover was to trade his dirty old work clothes for something a little more attractive.  We headed to Walmart where we knew we could find something great without spending a small fortune!

It didn’t take us long to find something that was the opposite of what we are all so used to seeing him in.

I already knew that was there, and now everyone else can see what a hottie he is too!

Here’s what my teenagers had to say about Dad’s makeover.

“Why do you think dad deserves or needs this makeover?”

Kalene: All the hard work he does so that we can look nice everyday. And because it’s Father’s Day and he dad and he’s the awesomest person in the whole wide world.

Richie: Because he is deeply in need of one and hasn’t had one in a really L O N G time!

“What do you think about dad’s makeover?”

Kalene: He looks nice.

Richie: He doesn’t look like a bum.

Rich’s thoughts about receiving this makeover:

“Norelco razors are pretty cool but I think it will take me a while to get used to using an electric shaver.  I liked going shopping with my wife, but I didn’t like her trying to pick out my clothes.  I found an outfit I really liked and I can relax in!  But it probably won’t take long before I get it dirty doing some kind of project.  Thanks Norelco for changing my mind about electric shavers and giving me a new look!”
