Next week we will be traveling eight hour north to spend Thanksgiving with my family. This is a much needed retreat for me and my family. And a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with my mom. I am looking forward to lots of great food and even more laughter. It’s always a good time when I get together with my mom and my sister.

Believe it or not, I am even looking forward to the eight hour ride to get there.

I am planning to get a lot done in those eight hours.

I always bring some books and whatever I am currently crocheting. This year I think I’ll also be bringing my Christmas Cards and my Christmas card list. This way I will feel like I have gotten a jump start of the holidays. This is always the one thing I end up procrastinating until the week before Christmas.

ChristmasCardsDirect is a great place to order you cards from. They have a huge selection. Plus they are just a great company. They have partnered with Operation Christmas Tree and Home Depot to send 5,000 Christmas trees and Christmas cards to United States Armed Forces stationed abroad this holiday season, you can read more about their donation here. There heart is definitely in the right place this holiday.
