Hmm that's a really good/interesting ?…..Off the top of my head, I can not think of something I've done for myself. But I can tell you what I've done for my family. In June of this year I decided to leave my corporate job to stay home w/my (then) 1 year old son. He was having the roughest time in daycare and it was tearing me apart. Since my husband is a teacher-$$ became tight, fast! I wandered onto a Mom blog one day and bam-I found tons of ways to save $$! I love seeing the excitement my kids have as they wait to impatiently for Santa. My son wants to go to bed early so that Santa won't skip our house.
Tried posting once already but it posted it twice and then I tried to delete one and it deleted both. I didn't think I was that tired? One of my favorite parts is after my kids go to bed on Christmas Eve. My husband and I snuggle down in front of the fire to wrap presents for hours. We make some snacks, have a couple drinks and watch It's A Wonderful Life. It's really a tradition I love.
