Since I always take Sundays off, today marks the end of PR Blackout for me.
I hope you enjoyed reading more posts from me that didn’t involve reviews or giveaways. I know I enjoyed taking a break to share other things with you.
I am surprised really by some of the reactions to PR Blackout that I ran into while visiting other places on the web. It seems like a lot of people were so against the idea, and I don’t get it really.
The general consensus seems to be that if we take a week off to reflect on thing other than reviews and giveaways we are in some way snubbing the PR people.
I love working with PR, and I believe the the people I have worked with can tell that I am a professional blogger who is easy to work with. In fact I have had several of the PR folks I deal with email me to say that they totally understand why I was participating, and they would wait to work with me.
So I am happy to inform that just because a couple of bloggers took a stand and dedicated one week only to sharing what is in their hearts the whole bloggy review world did not come to a screeching halt.
In fact I would venture to say that it actually did the opposite. At least for me. It cemented some of my PR relationships.
I am looking forward to a lot of the projects that I have coming up, and I can’t wait to bring you some great new things. I also am planing to write a lot more since I really did enjoy that.
I have a whole slew of giveaways beginning tomorrow. So why not take some time to enter the ones that are currently running and scheduled to end soon. Some of the givaways that I have open right now are for Sharpies, a Coach Wallet, and Trix Swirls.
Also, here are some of the things I have lined up for the rest of the month:
Office Max
EA Sports Active
Hana Hair Straightener
Shred Sled
Carolina Pad
That’s just a sample of what’s to come!
