Groundhog’s Day is coming up soon and Sonic is celebrating!
As you know, Punxsutawney Phil is about to make his 2013 debut and give us a verdict on whether we get to break into spring early this year.
To beat the winter blues, SONIC is hedging its bets and offering 100% good news on Groundhog Day. For one day only, SONIC is offering its Footlong Quarter Pound Hot Dogs at half price. SONIC’s own groundhog will be taking questions and responding with predictions on SonicDriveIn.com from Thursday, Jan. 31, through Groundhog Day on Saturday, Feb. 2.
I have been eyeing the different hot dogs they carry the last few times I have visited Sonic, but I always go back to my favorite Sonic Burger and LemonBerry Slush! I am thinking this is THE perfect time for me to break out of my box and try one of them.
I have to tell you that my family and I are HUGE fans of Sonic! It doesn’t help that we pass by one at least twice a week when we take my son to basketball practice. The food is great and the prices are better. In fact, I am heading out soon to drive my son to his practice and I believe we will have to stop on the way back home afterwards to pick up a slushie

Since I know what Phil saw this morning, I won’t cheat. However, I think he was right. Spring temps should come a bit early this year even if Spring always comes officially the same time each year. Tennessee gets odd weather anyway. Spring on Tuesday and winter on Friday.

I just figured out last year that it’s the same outcome either way… Either “Yaaay! Only 6 more weeks until Spring!”
or “Awww… Looks like 6 more weeks of winter…” 
See? Same thing! haha I don’t believe I never noticed that before. Can’t wait for spring though… This winter has seemed really looong…

Glad to see it is no more winter – like we had any but the COLD weather! LOL
I just want winter to end!!!!! So I hope he doesn’t!!!
Phil will see his shadow and pack his bags and spend the rest of his winter in Florida!
I never know which is which it all seems too long especially sitting in -25 windchills so ill vote for whichever is shorter? He sees his shadow?
