Getting in shape has become an ongoing struggle for me over the last several years.
I had finally joined a gym with my husband about 2 years ago. This was really hard for me to do since I was completely out of shape. In fact I found it difficult to walk on the treadmill. But I was determined, and it was long before the Elliptical and Stepper became my favorite friends.
This was also a neat time to spend with my husband and it wasn’t long before we saw real results. I lost almost 15 pounds and was seeing muscles I didn’t know existed.
I’m not sure how it happened exactly, but we just kind of stopped going regularly. And now I am almost back to where I started physically.
So I have heard amazing things about 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels, and I am going to commit to doing it.
This is going to be my birthday present to myself.
I’m sure it isn’t going to be easy, but I am hoping it will give me the kick start I need to get back to the gym again.

i did this a few months ago and it is HARD. definetely a good workout. i didnt finish because i got lazy. i did it for about 2 weeks. i plan to start again soon though

Good for you! Taking care of yourself is sooo important!
I'll join you! I've done about 6 days now. Unfortunately, those 6 days have been spread out over about 3 weeks tho. : ) You probably won't be able to move after the first day, but it gets better. I have seen a definite improvement in my push-up abilities. The good news is it's all basic moves and only lasts 20 minutes.

I belong to a chat board who just raves about the shred.So far, I've been too scared to try it! I don't know if I'm ready to have my *ss kicked all over the place – kwim?

Next week is spring break so our fitness center will be PACKED..so I pretty much have given up on going next week.

Thanks for asking. It is a DVD workout. It’s 20 minutes a day for 30 days. It says you’ll lose up to 20 pounds.

I did this about a month ago- for only a week though . It was definately a little challenging- but suprisingly- not as hard as some make it out to be! Jillian is amazing. She keeps the movements very simple and easy to do! I might join you in doing this! I get it free from Cox Cable On Demand!
