ThredUP: One Free Box Of Clothes!

Saving Dollarsand Sense

When my kids were little I loved whenever someone would bless us with their had me down clothes.  It seemed like every time I turned around they were out growing their clothes.  The hand me downs kept us from needing to spend our money on clothes.

I would have loved to know about ThredUP. Basically this is a service that is all about getting great new clothes (and toys!) for your kids while getting rid of stuff they no longer use.

Once you sign up for a FREE account you will be able to search through all of the boxes that are listed for one that contains the kind of things you are looking for.  Then you can box up the things your child has grown out of and send it FREE of charge.

It’s Free to join and you’ll get your 1st box for Free! You will still have to pay for shipping and handling.

  1. That’s a great site/program! I never remember it though when I have things to giveaway. My middle daughter’s stuff goes to my youngest and by the time she’s finished I just give it to a young lady with small children or Goodwill. I need to keep in mind that I can do this more. Hand-me-downs rock!

  2. I signed up, but it is still charging my card for my first box. Is there a code or something I need to use?
