Shower of Flowers $39.99!

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!

Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?  We usually don’t make a big fuss about Valentine’s Day.  My husband always picks up a small heart shaped box of chocolates for each of our kids, and sometimes some flowers for me.

This year I was able to choose my own bouquet from ProFlowers!

Mrs. Field's Bites Basket $39.99!

There are so many affordable choices that it was hard to choose.  Not to mention they have Mrs. Field’s cookies which I was really tempted to choose.  You’ll be able to find gifts for kids, men, and women.  They carry  baked goods, jewelry, flowers, spa baskets, potted plants, and more.

I am giving away a $100 ProFlowers gift certificate to one lucky reader of Saving Dollars and Sense!

Here’s how to enter:

Leave me a comment telling me how you spend Valentine’s Day.

This giveaway is open to all legal residents of the US age 18 and older and will end on February 10th.

Here are some ways that you can earn Extra entries
(Be sure to leave a separate comment for each entry)

We typically do things for the kids. We will have pancakes and bacon for dinner, which is their favorite, with whipped cream and berries. We will also but them some little candies and a little nick knack and a card. My husband and I have been together for 16 years so it’s more focused on the kids then on us now a days :-)

We don’t usually make a big fuss over Valentine’s Day, either. My hubby and I always exchange cards, and I cook something nice for dinner.

We spend a quiet Valentine’s Day at home eating our favorite take-out Thai food and snuggling in front of the fire.

I plan on taking off work and sleeping of a road trip with cheap chocolate and chickflicks on netflix streaming. Then going to bed early and praying that this will be my last pathetic valentines day. Well something like that. Maybe some friends will rescue me from the self-destructive behavior.

Since having my first baby 3 months ago my husband and I don’t get to go out much anymore. We would normally go out for dinner on Valentines day but this year we will probably get take out.

We typically just enjoy a dinner together – whether home or out to eat. Either or works – it’s the good company that counts :0)

We always “kick” valentines to our family and friends – meaning leave them treats and a note to tell them how much they are loved and appreciated, on their door step, ring the bell, and run away. We don’t tell them its from us but they probably have a pretty good idea it is. Its very fun for my children and is helping them develop generous hearts.

Well, a lot of times, Valentine’s Day kind of passes us by. We usually exchange some small gift, but that is about it. This year, I want to do something special though I probably won’t do it ON Valentine’s Day. My plan is to find and overnight sitter, make my husband’s favorite meal and just spend the evening with him. As much as we love our children, our lives have pretty much revolved around them for 8 yrs now. It is good to, once in awhile, have it revolve around us. It is a marriage enhancer and a mommy life-saver.

We normally don’t do a lot for Valentine’s day, although this year we actually have a sitter so we get to go out to dinner a couple of nights before! Should be a lot of fun. Normally our tradition is to get each other the most outrageous and hilarious card we can find, and then we get the kiddos some sweet treats. :-)
Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
