St. Patrick’s Day is coming soon, and in honor of that I thought I’d share some of my favorite Free St. Patrick’s Day activities for kids!
We really love to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. It could be because we are Irish, or just because we love the story of Patrick. Whatever it is we start get excited about this days ahead of time.
Of course it wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without a great Corned Beef dinner!
I am planning on making Corned Beef, Potatoes & Carrots, and this super easy authentic Irish Soda Bread recipe.
And for dessert we’ll be having homemade green Shamrock Shakes.
We have always read the story of Patrick out of the book Trial and Triumph. If you don’t happen to have this book, you can find the story online.
St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t need to be the same ordinary homeschooling day when you incorporate a few of these extra special activities .
The History Channel has a few clips online that you can watch to learn more about St. Patrick’s Day.

Rainbow Science is a lot of fun! Who wouldn’t love to create their own rainbow?
Enchanted Learning has several math projects.
You could take some time to learn about the customs and people of Ireland. You could also learn the geography of the area.
