Sometimes saving can seem daunting. Especially when you find yourself in a situation where you aren’t sure there is any room for savings.

But I want to encourage you that small savings can add up to a lot over time. I believe it is not necessarily about how much or how little you save when you are shopping.

It is a change of mind that makes all the difference. So if you are someone who does whatever you are able to do to save instead of just continuing through life accepting a full-price mentality, I think you are well on your way to being frugally and fiscally fit.

CHANGE YOUR FINANCIAL PERSPECTIVE

I used to always feel like everything would be fine IF I had just a few more dollars in the paycheck each week. And I am not saying that wouldn’t still help, but that kind of thinking always left me feeling defeated and hopeless.

So one day i made the decision that i needed to change my financial perspective, and my life has never been the same.

Now instead of feeling like I never have enough money, I am always on the lookout for ways to save so that I never have to pay full price again.

Now we live as simply as we can, reuse whatever we can, eat leftovers, menu plan, buy what we will use when it is at the lowest cost instead of paying full price, and many other tricks to being a frugal person.

And all those little things I am able to do throughout the day add up to big change at the end of the week, month, year!

I’M NOT PERFECT. BUT I TRY TO DO WHAT I CAN WHEN I CAN.

This doesn’t mean I never pay full price. But now when I do, I don’t like it one bit.
