Orange Pumpkin Pecan Squares

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of Sugar
  • 1/2 cup of Shortening
  • 1 cup of Canned Pumpkin
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 of a 6 oz. can Frozen Orange Juice thawed
  • 1 2/3 cups of Flour
  • 1 tsp of Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp of Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp of Allspice
  • 1/2 tsp of Cloves
  • 1/2 tsp of Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of Ground Nutmeg
  • Crushed Pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a bowl cream together sugar and shortening.
  • Next beat in the pumpkin, eggs, and orange juice concentrate.
  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, soda ,and all your spices.
  • Pour your flour mixture into your pumpkin mixture.
  • Get a 13x9x2 inch baking pan, grease and coat in flour.
  • Pour in batter.
  • Top with crushed pecans.
  • Place it in the over for 30 to 35 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Serve and ENJOY!!
