Candy Cane Cupcakes

- 1 box Cake Mix
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Water
- 1/3 cup Vegetable Oil
- 24 small candy canes
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 cups confectioners sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 cup crushed starlight mints or candy canes
Make cupcakes according to directions.
Let cool.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and add vanilla.
Mix in the sugar one cup at a time.
Beat in the milk mixing until fluffy.
Tranfer icing to the corner of large size zipper bag, try to minimalize trapped air and close. Clip a small piece off the corner to pipe.
Ice the top of the cupcake.
Sprinkle top with crushed mints.
Stick a candy cane in the top of each.
