Ingredients

  • Violet leaf
  • Calendula
  • Cleavers
  • Plantain
  • Comfrey
  • Carrier oil (enough to cover the herbs in a jar)
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons infused herbal oil
  • ¼ cup beeswax
  • ¼ cup shea butter
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  • 1 tablespoon kaolin clay
  • 30 drops essential oils (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Add all the herbs into a glass jar and cover completely with your carrier oil.

Let it sit for six weeks, shaking occasionally.

Once ready, strain out the herbs to get your infused oil.

Tips and Variations

  • Essential oils are optional. Tea tree and lavender are great choices for their fresh scent and skin-loving benefits.
  • Any carrier oil will work for the infusion. Avocado oil is a good option, but olive oil, sweet almond oil, or jojoba oil will also work.
  • If you’re short on time, you can gently heat the herbs in oil for a few hours on low heat instead of infusing for six weeks, though the longer method is ideal for full strength.

This homemade deodorant is a great way to simplify your routine and take a more natural approach to personal care—while saving money, too.
