Family Traditions, Favorite Finds, and Choosing Margin & Saying Yes to Summer!

This St. Patrick’s Day was one for the books!

We celebrated with family, good food, and lots of laughs.

Two women and three children gather around a cozy table, enjoying snacks and refreshing bottled water. In the background, a wall clock quietly ticks away, marking their precious moments together.

The kids had a blast building leprechaun traps!

Three children are gathered around a wooden table. One is standing, smiling for a personal photo, while another sits on a chair. The third is focused on a tall stack of green folders, perhaps crafting the perfect post for later.

They were convinced they were going to be catching one later that night.

Three tall, colorful cardboard structures with "Free Gold" signs and rainbow designs brighten up the tiled kitchen floor, bringing a playful vibe to the personal post.

They also spent time outdoors soaking up the sunshine, driving their remove control cars and visiting the chickens.

Later we used the Ninja Slushi to make our favorite treat—homemade shamrock shakes (minty, creamy perfection).

In a cozy personal post, a young child sips from a green clover-shaped container with a straw, standing indoors against the backdrop of a brick wall and wooden cabinet.

It was one of those simple, joy-filled days that reminds me how much I love my Irish roots and the traditions we’ve created together.

Celebrating as a family, making memories, and just enjoying each other’s company is what it’s all about.

Four people stand indoors near a door, each with a personal connection that radiates warmth. One person holds a small child, and they're all smiling, dressed casually as if posing for a cherished post.
Four generations of Irish women!

I’m so thankful for my Irish roots—and even more thankful for this wild, wonderful family of mine!

And speaking of enjoying life…

Weekly Wins

This week’s win?

I made the decision to take the summer off from classes—and honestly, it feels amazing.

After juggling a full schedule, I’m giving myself permission to actually enjoy summer break like a normal person—hello sunshine, slower days, and maybe even a book that’s not for school.

I can’t wait to soak up every minute of it!

Here’s to choosing rest and making space for joy.

In a personal post, a person in a plaid shirt snaps a selfie in the bathroom mirror, clutching a pink hairbrush. An electric toothbrush and sink faucet frame the scene subtly.

Favorite Find

Okay, I had to share this one—my new favorite hair tool: the Air Flow Styler Curler!

It’s dropped to just $21 with a clippable coupon and extra savings at checkout.

It’s the only curler I’ve found that gives me waves that actually last all day—no hairspray needed—and it smooths out flyaways beautifully.

I shared a video here of how I use mine to get my hair done every day in like ten minutes.

The air flow helps set the curls and cuts down on heat damage too. Total game-changer!

The cover of "Luke in the Land" by Kristi McLelland captures a personal journey, showcasing a desert landscape with rocky terrain, subtly positioned on a wooden surface.

What I’m Watching/Reading/Listening to:

I’ve been diving into Luke in the Land by Kristi McLelland, and it’s been such a rich, eye-opening study.

She brings the Gospel of Luke to life by exploring it through a Middle Eastern lens with real videos, helping me see Jesus’ ministry in its full cultural and historical context.

It’s deepening my understanding of Scripture and showing me just how compassionate and intentional Jesus was in every interaction.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fresh perspective on the life of Jesus.

A potted plant with lush green leaves and a few white flowers sits on a wooden table, adorned with a shiny green shamrock stick. This personal touch adds charm to any post-worthy setting.

That’s a little peek into our week—full of fun, small wins, and meaningful moments.

I’m so thankful for the joy in the everyday and the chance to slow down, reflect, and share it with you.

Wishing you a restful weekend and a fresh start to the week ahead.

Thanks for being here!
