Is the VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Ultimate RC Speedway Worth Buying?
The Go! Go! Smart Wheels Speedway is exactly what every child wants from a racing track – a fully customizable track with a nifty remote-controlled car. Unlike many racing tracks of its kind, the Go! Go!
Smart Wheels Speedway allows you to build whatever kind of track you want, and with 13 feet of the track, there is plenty of scope for creativity. Putting the track together is also simple and straightforward, meaning children can be involved without the need for constant adult supervision.
What really makes the Go! Go! Smart Wheels Speedway so appealing is the action zones. The automated car elevator is a big hit with most children, while the action zone is always good for a laugh!
The steering wheel remote control is a nice touch also, and the inclusion of a reverse button, while rarely needed, gives children an increased feeling of control over their driving. And any children with existing VTech Go! Go!
Sets will be delighted to find that the sets are completely interchangeable, meaning extra-large tracks can be created for even bigger racing worlds!
The only disappointing aspect of the Go! Go! Smart Wheels Speedway is the inclusion of only one remote-controlled car.
The picture on the front of the packaging shows two cars racing, and the standard track set up allows for two cars, so it’s slightly irritating that a second car has to be purchased separately if needed.
That being said, this is a minor issue, and it is clearly stated on the item that there is only one car included. If the VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Speedway included 2 cars, it would be faultless. As it is, it’s merely excellent!
