This week has been full of so many good (and a little wild) moments!
It all started with Easter Sunday, where we had the incredible opportunity to share the gospel with over 130 kids.
It was such a blessing to see so many little hearts hear the good news!
Afterward, we spent the rest of the day with family, just enjoying being together and soaking in the sweet time.
A few days later, we picked up our new bee packages from our friends at Turtlebee Farms.
We havenโt installed them in their hives yet because the weather hasnโt been quite right, but weโre planning to get them settled in this week. I can’t wait!
I also spent some time working on a little garden bed right outside my dining room window, getting it ready for the new strawberry plants I just got.
Last year, I planted two strawberry plants there to test it out (since strawberries havenโt done well anywhere else in our yard), and they thrived!
So this year, Iโm going all in โ adding about 30 more plants across three different varieties.
While I was cleaning out the bed and pulling up some lemon balm that had totally taken over, I started noticing lots of tiny yellow flying insects.
Then I realized โ I was getting stung!

After some research (and a lot of itching), I found out they were tiny digger bees.
Apparently, I disturbed their underground hives when I was weeding.
Thankfully, their stings are super mild, but it definitely made for an adventurous afternoon!
Itโs been a full week, and Iโm so thankful for it all โ the joyful moments, the new beginnings, and even the unexpected wild ones.
Weekly Wins
Iโm so excited โ the Trillium plant I found last year has come back again this spring!
Trilliums are such special plants because theyโre actually pretty rare and slow-growing.
It can take years for them to flower, and theyโre super sensitive to their environment.
In some places, theyโre even protected because theyโre so hard to replace once disturbed.
Seeing it come back feels like a little gift โ a reminder that good things often take time!
Favorite Find
This weekโs favorite find has to be the salted caramel Greek yogurt I spotted at Aldi.
I wasnโt sure what to expect, but wow โ itโs absolutely delicious!
Itโs the perfect little treat when I want something sweet but still kind of healthy.
Iโm already thinking I shouldโve grabbed a few more because I can see this becoming a regular thing around here.
If youโre at Aldi anytime soon, definitely keep an eye out for it!
What I’m Watching/Reading/Listening to:
Lately, Rich and I have been watching a new TV show called Tracker.
Justin Hartley stars as Colter Shaw, a trusted lone-wolf survivalist who uses his instincts to find the missing and collect rewards.
Itโs been the perfect background show for us โ each episode stands alone, so even if you accidentally fall asleep or miss part of it while scrolling your phone (guilty!), you can jump right back in without feeling lost.
Itโs been our new go-to when we just want something easy and entertaining to have on in the evenings.
We’ve been using the free Paramount streaming we get with our Walmart+ membership, but you can also get a FREE trial of Paramount+ if you want to check it out.
Thatโs a little peek into whatโs been going on around here lately โ from Easter celebrations and bee adventures to tiny garden victories and new TV favorites.
Thanks so much for hanging out with me and letting me share a bit of our life with you.
Iโd love to hear โ whatโs been a win or favorite find from your week?
