Kids can see FREE movies this summer when they spend time reading first!
Showcase Cinemas is joining the list of FREE Summer Reading Programs and offering kids who read and complete a book report the opportunity to see FREE movies all summer long with their Bookworm Wednesday program!
Every Wednesday at 10 A.M. from July 11th – August 1st, just bring a completed book report form with you to the select Bookworm Wednesday Movie and that’s your price for admission!

A fun and rewarding summer reading program developed to encourage young children to read during the summer months, Bookworm Wednesdays entitle kids to free admission to a select children’s film when they present a book report at a participating Cinema de Lux, Showcase, or Multiplex Cinemas box office.
Accompanying parents or guardians and children under six years of age receive free admission and do not need to submit a book report.
*Children under six who accompany a participant and adults who accompany a participant receive free admittance to the Bookworm Wednesdays movie and do not need to submit a book report. No purchase is necessary.
Below is the summer movie schedule:
- July 5 – Sonic the Hedgehog
- July 12 – Paw Patrol the Movie
- July 19 – Clifford the Big Red Dog
- July 26 – Sonic the Hedgehog 2
