Back To School Lunch.
Today is the beginning of a series of themed lunch ideas I have to share with you. Be sure to check back each day for another great lunch post!
For my son’s first day of school (ever) I wanted to make it a fun school themed box.
I started by taking alphabet cookie cutters to cut out his grade, Kindergarten, and age-5.
Using a sharpie I colored a “chalkboard” onto a fruit cup and made simple ABCs with a white paint pen.
Of course back to school means apples so I turned a Baby Bell Cheese into one using a tiny torn piece of green construction paper, and a piece of a skewer colored with-yes a sharpie, one of my favorite lunch box tools.
I raided my scrapbook paper stash to turn a plain bottle of Gatorade into a too cool for school drink.
Finally, I added a few cracker jacks just for a sweet treat. You can create fun and creative lunchboxes for your child with just a little imagination and a few good tools like these:
