How to Make Cherries Jubilee Recipe
To make this recipe, you will want to get your canned cherries and pour into the slow cooker.
Add in your dried cherries, sugar, orange juice, and then extract.
Give a good stir and then cook on low for 4 hours.
When you hit the 4-hour mark take the lid off and make your cornstarch slurry.
Pour into the slow cooker and turn to high for 30 minutes.
This will help to thicken your cherry dish.
Once done, serve up over pound cake, crepes, ice cream, or any other dessert.

How To Store
You can store your cherry leftovers in the fridge for a few days.
It will thicken a bit as it gets colder in the fridge.
You can eat it chilled straight from the fridge, or warm it up.
Toss in the microwave for a quick reheat or if you do the stovetop make sure that you do low and slow on heat or it will burn.
In terms of freezing, you are more than welcome to freeze your leftovers.
Place in a container or even a freezer bag.
Just make sure if you do a bag you get as much air out as you can.

Can I Make This Dessert On The Stove
If you want to speed the process up and make this on the stovetop go right ahead.
Grab a pot and add in all ingredients but the cornstarch slurry.
Cook over medium-low heat stirring often.
You need to stir often or this will burn.
Once all the mixture is nice and mixed and sugar is fully dissolved you can then add in your cornstarch slurry to thicken it up.
Once it is thick, you are ready to serve.

Ingredients
- 2 15 ounce cans pitted sweet cherries in heavy syrup
- ½ cup dried cherries
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup orange juice
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 6 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Place canned cherries, dried cherries, sugar, orange juice, and almond extract in the
