I used to be so intimidated by making recipes from scratch, but this one is so easy to make and will impress even the pickiest eaters.
Start by preheating the oven to 350.
Next cream together your eggs and sugar in a large bowl.
Add in oil and pumpkin and mix well.
How to Make Your Own Pumpkin Puree
In a separate bowl whisk together flour, spices, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.
Next add the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and use a hand mixer to blend well.
Add nuts and mini chocolate chips and fold into batter.
Pour your batter into a greased bundt pan.
Finally place in the oven and bake for 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Can you use fresh pumpkin instead of canned pumpkin for this recipe?
Of course you can! In fact I encourage you to do so if you have some. The canned pumpkin tastes great, but nothing tastes as good as fresh pumpkin in any recipe that calls for pumpkin puree.
