Mozzarella Cheese Sticks Ingredients

• Eggs
• Italian seasoning
• Panko breadcrumbs
• Mozzarella sticks
• Pizza sauce for dunking

Mozzarella Cheese Sticks Recipe

Take your mozzarella string cheese sticks & cut them in halves.

Beat the eggs in a bowl.

Combine the Italian seasoning and breadcrumbs in a second bowl.

Dip a mozzarella stick into the egg mixture and coat it completely.

The dip the same mozzarella stick into the bowl with the breadcrumbs and coat completely.

Transfer to a baking sheet and line them up so they are not touching. Freeze for a 30 minutes.

Coat the mozzarella sticks again by dipping them in the egg mixture and then the panko breadcrumbs, and then stick them in the freezer again for an additional 30 minutes.

Set your air fryer to 400°F. Air fry the mozzarella sticks for 8 to 10 minutes until the exterior is golden and crispy.

Serve with marinara or pizza sauce & enjoy!
