Packages of pink, yellow, and blue Peeps marshmallows alongside a bag of semisweet chocolate chips and graham crackers on a marble surface—perfect ingredients for an Easter Bunny-inspired S'mores Dip.

Ingredients

Peeps: I used the Peeps marshmallow bunnies, which offer a sweet flavor with a sugary coating. The Peeps are colorful, playful, and festive.

Chocolate: For the chocolate portion, I used semi-sweet chocolate chips. It works great for the base of the s’mores dip.

Graham Crackers: I used graham crackers to dip into the melted chocolate and marshmallow mixture to finish the dip.

Dipping Items for This Dessert Dip

  • Fresh Fruit – Strawberries, apples, bananas, raspberries, pears, etc.
  • Cookies – Sugar cookies, shortbread cookies, graham crackers, etc.
  • Pretzels
  • Rice Krispies Treats
  • Waffle Cone Chips
  • Etc.

Variations

  • You can add some sliced berries on top of the chocolate chips for a fruity twist to the dip.
  • Nuts are another fantastic item to sprinkle on top of the chocolate: almonds, pecans, or even walnuts.
  • Change up the type of chocolate you use. White chocolate, milk, or even dark chocolate work as well.
  • Mix in part of the chocolate chips and the other part of the peanut butter chips.
  • Swirl some Nutella on top of the chocolate before you add the Peeps.
Can I use regular marshmallows instead of Peeps?

You are welcome to change up the topping and use mini or regular-sized marshmallows to replace the Peeps.

What if I don’t have a 2-quart baking dish?

If you don’t have a baking dish that is 2-quart size, you can use a pan of a different size. Just ensure you get the chocolate in an even layer in the pan. That way it bakes appropriately.

Can I make this dip ahead of time?

You can assemble the dip, but wait to bake it until you are ready to serve. Just keep it covered, and then when ready, place it in the oven and bake.
