Jody has done it again!
Check out this Circle Themed Lunch she came up with for her son.
Theme lunches don’t have to be elaborate. Try simple ideas like shapes, colors, “everything on a stick,” or numbers.
My son already knows his shapes, but he still thought it was a fun lunch. I don’t tell him the theme—he guesses at lunchtime. It makes for fun conversation on the car ride home when he recounts his lunch.
There are plenty of circle foods—he loves these bread rounds; it’s a nice change from plain white bread.
Cheese balls are always a hit, plus Nilla Wafers and Hershey’s Drops for a sweet treat.
Always include fresh fruit to balance out your child’s lunch. I used grapes (his favorite), but apples, oranges, blueberries, or cherries would work, too.
I even found a globe-shaped flavored water bottle at the grocery store to finish it off.
