Jody has done it again!
Check out this Circle Themed Lunch she came up with for her son.
Theme lunches need not always be an elaborate plan. Sometimes you can go with a simple idea like shapes, colors, everything on a stick, or numbers.
My son already knows his shapes but he still thought it was a fun lunch nevertheless. I don’t tell him the theme, let him guess, and find out at lunchtime. It makes for fun conversation on the car ride home after school when he recounts his lunch for the day (as if I didn’t make it )
There are plenty of circle foods out there, he loves these bread rounds, it’s a great change up from plain old white bread.
Cheese balls are always a hit, Nilla wafers, Hersheys Drops for an extra sweet treat.
Always include fresh fruit to balance out your child’s lunch. I went with his favorite, grapes but we could have used apples, oranges, blueberries, or cherries.
I even stumbled across this globe shaped flavored water bottle at the grocery store to finish it off.
